Last updated August 31, 2026. This policy explains how LocalCommand collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit our website, request an audit or trial, use the LocalCommand platform, or connect a third-party service.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide, including your name, business contact details, company information, service offerings, team and customer records, job and scheduling details, estimates, invoices, payment status, communications, and support requests. When you connect an integration such as QuickBooks Online, we receive the account identifiers and business records required to provide the features you authorize. We do not ask you to submit bank credentials, full payment-card numbers, Social Security numbers, or QuickBooks passwords to LocalCommand.
Information collected automatically
We may collect device, browser, approximate location, referral, campaign, usage, diagnostic, security, and cookie information. We use this information to operate the service, prevent abuse, understand product performance, and improve the customer experience.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure LocalCommand; create and administer workspaces; process audit and trial requests; support CRM, scheduling, dispatch, field operations, reporting, reputation, marketing, automation, and AI-assisted workflows; communicate with users; troubleshoot problems; comply with law; and improve our services. We do not sell personal information submitted through LocalCommand.
QuickBooks and connected services
QuickBooks connections use Intuit’s authorization process. LocalCommand stores the authorization tokens needed to maintain the connection in encrypted form and uses them only for the workflows the account administrator enables, such as synchronizing contractor or vendor records. You can disconnect QuickBooks from LocalCommand’s integration settings. Connected services are also governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
AI-assisted features
When an enabled workflow uses an AI provider, the minimum information reasonably needed to perform that task may be processed by that provider under our service arrangements. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before it is used for customer, employment, financial, tax, legal, safety, or other consequential decisions.
How we share information
We may share information with service providers that host, secure, analyze, support, or deliver LocalCommand; with integrations you direct us to connect; within your authorized business workspace; during a business transaction; or when required to protect rights, safety, security, or comply with law. Service providers may use information only for the services they provide to us, subject to their contractual obligations.
Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type and workspace configuration. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may update workspace information, change integration settings, disconnect connected services, or request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Workspace administrators control most business records and user access. Some information may be retained when required for security, legal, billing, or audit purposes.
Children’s privacy
LocalCommand is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. To submit a privacy request, use the support channel inside your LocalCommand workspace or contact LocalCommand through this website and identify the request as privacy-related.
